important advice - please read carefully

* Do not open Rubba Roof Professional tins until you are ready to start work.
Only open one container at a time.

Open containers CAREFULLY, once open and exposed to air Rubba Roof Professional starts to ‘cure’. Rubba Roof Professional should be stored in a warm environment (16°C+) for 12 - 24 hours prior to use. Coat vertical/inclined surfaces before stirring contents. Then, thoroughly stir Rubba Roof Professional prior to coating horizontal areas.
It may be possible to preserve unused Rubba Roof for up to 24 hours by the use of cling-film......Push the film fully down onto the unused Rubba Roof ensuring a seal around the inside of the tin and excluding any air. Now cover the top of the tin with more cling-film. Replace the lid as tightly as possible. Store in a warm place.

do not put any solvents, thinners etc. into rubba roof compounds.

Rubba Roof Primer
Use Rubba Roof Primer to close off micro-pores before application of Rubba Roof on specific surfaces.
These are generally:-
Asphaltic Coating - Roofing Felts - Plywood - Timber - Cement - Concrete - Stone - Clay. Once the primer has dried to at least a tacky state the Rubba Roof compound can be applied.

Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece
Use the Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece to span cracks, small holes etc. in the surface to be sealed with Rubba Roof Professional.

Also to form upstands, downstands, flashings around vents, rooflights, and valleys. Rubba Roof Reinforcing fleece should be used between two coats of Rubba Roof Professional for the surfacing of balconies and for waterproofing roofs of portable buildings. Cut Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece to the required size and shape necessary to lap the adjoining surfaces. Apply a coating of unstirred Rubba Roof Professional to the relevant surfaces.

Press the Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece into the wet Rubba Roof Professional compound pressing out any trapped air bubbles. When the Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece is set firmly, apply Rubba Roof Professional compound over the Rubba Roof Reinforcing Fleece treated surfaces.
